ABSTRACT
In the era of digital transformation, universities are increasingly leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency and user experience. This study aimed to design, develop, and implement an Interactive AI Information Kiosk for St. Paul University Philippines to address the problems and challenges faced by students, faculty, staff, and visitors in accessing information. The research utilized a combination of descriptive and development research designs. The descriptive design employed both qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze the difficulties encountered by the university community, while the development of the system followed the agile scrum framework, ensuring continuous improvement and user-centered design. The Interactive AI Information Kiosk was evaluated based on ISO/IEC 25010 software quality standards, covering aspects such as functional suitability, performance efficiency, compatibility, usability, reliability, security, maintainability, and portability. The results indicated high compliance across these criteria, with overall ratings reflecting a “Very Great Extent” of compliance. Specific enhancements were made post-evaluation, focusing on improving the user interface, natural language processing capabilities, security measures, performance efficiency, and maintainability. The findings suggest that the Interactive AI Information Kiosk significantly enhances information accessibility and user experience at SPUP, aligning with the university’s goal of becoming a smart university. The system’s high compliance with software quality standards and the targeted enhancements demonstrates its effectiveness.
