ABSTRACT

With the changes in the global energy pattern and the popularization of the concept of green development, electric vehicles, as a means of transportation with clean energy, have more broad development prospects. As one of the key technologies of electric vehicles, the power management system of electric vehicles is of great significance to improve the safety, energy efficiency and range of electric vehicles. The design and implementation of power management systems for electric vehicles are studied. The system is mainly composed of a power supply system and an auxiliary DC system. As the main energy source for electric vehicles, power supply system’s typically use power battery packs to power electric motors. The management strategy of power battery pack is discussed, including real-time monitoring of power supply status, voltage and current data. According to ISO25010 standards, the “Electric Vehicle Power Management System” is largely compliant with software quality, especially in terms of functionality, reliability, availability, efficiency, maintainability, and portability. In terms of software design, the architecture of the electric vehicle power management system is proposed, including the upper computer software and the lower computer software. In summary, this paper studies the design and implementation of the power management system for electric vehicles, including the power supply system, auxiliary DC system, battery management strategy and software design. The research results are of great significance for improving the safety, energy efficiency and endurance of electric vehicles, and provide strong technical support for the industrialization of electric vehicles.
