ABSTRACT

The study explores the impact of the blended teaching mode on the development of students’ tennis skills at Handan University. In response to the educational challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a global shift towards integrating technology into teaching practices. This transition is seen as an opportunity to enhance educational systems and adapt to the digital demands of the future. Blended teaching, which combines online instructional materials with in-person coaching, is increasingly being adopted to create flexible, accessible, and personalized learning experiences. Handan University has implemented this approach in its Physical Education (PE) courses, specifically in tennis and table tennis, aiming to improve student performance and education quality. The study examines how the blended teaching mode enhances students’ engagement, skill acquisition, and overall learning outcomes in tennis. The findings indicate that the integration of technology in PE not only fosters a more interactive and effective learning environment but also equips students with the skills necessary for future academic and professional success.
