ABSTRACT
This study examines the relationship between frustration tolerance and academic self-efficacy among 999 students from Guangdong Polytechnic of Water Resources and Electric Engineering in Guangdong, China. A mixed-method research design and purposive sampling were employed, focusing on freshmen to junior students. Data collection involved the Frustration Tolerance Questionnaire (FTQ) and the Academic Self-Efficacy Questionnaire (ASEQ). Statistical tools such as Frequency and Percentage Distribution, and the Chi-square test were used to analyse the data. Findings highlight the importance of enhancing frustration tolerance and academic self-efficacy through improved parenting styles and fostering a positive, harmonious family environment.
